The garden room at Villa Paula, enclosed and climate-controlled, in winter

Companies · Company day

Company day near Valencia

A day away from the office, and home again to sleep.

No overnight stay

A whole day, no hotel

Some teams do not need to stay away overnight. They need a whole day far from the office, with room to sit down and think and nobody else around.

That is what a company day is. The team arrives early, works wherever it likes and leaves in the late afternoon. It is offered Monday to Thursday, from November to February, except for the two weeks of the Christmas holidays. The villa is yours alone that day: no other group, no reception desk, no room with a shift.

What a day looks like

9:30 · ArrivalCoffee on the porch. You park inside: the interior drive is a hundred metres by twelve and holds twenty vehicles.
10:00 · WorkFirst session in the garden room or wherever the team chooses.
12:00 · ActivitiesA mix, to the group’s taste: the paella class over mandarin wood, the potter’s wheel, a walk around the estate, table tennis, billiards.
14:30 · LunchThe paella the team has cooked, an asado or something else. It is agreed beforehand.
16:00 · The afternoonSome go back to work and others play. There is room for both without getting in each other’s way.
18:00 · Wrapping upWhatever the team wants to end the day with: live flamenco, lingering at the table by the fire, a few words from whoever organised the day.
19:00 · DepartureAnd home again. Every team sets its own order: some work all morning and leave the activities for the afternoon, and some start by playing.

What people ask

How many people can come?

Up to 28 seated at once in the garden room. To sleep, 7 to 14.

Which days?

Monday to Thursday, from November to February, except for the two weeks of the Christmas holidays.

Is lunch included?

It is not included, because it depends on what the team wants to eat. It is agreed separately: a paella class over mandarin wood, a slow-smoked asado or something else.

How much does it cost?

From €1,399 for the day with the whole villa for a team of up to 14 people, and from €2,499 for up to 28, VAT included, plus €250 for cleaning. Food is extra, depending on what the team chooses.

How do we get there?

By air, Valencia airport is five minutes away (3.5 km). We arrange transfers with our own drivers. By car, you park inside: there is room for twenty vehicles.

What if something unexpected comes up?

There is a team you can reach twenty-four hours a day. We have found emergency flights and driven guests to other airports when a strike cancelled theirs.

And if we want to stay the night?

Then it is a retreat: two nights minimum, for 7 to 14 people. How a team retreat works.
