How we contact you
Impersonating a holiday rental by email is increasingly common. This page says exactly where we write to you from, so you can check for yourself at any time.
Where we write from
Villa Paula writes to you from villapaula@villapaula.es and from WhatsApp +34 635 676 888. If you booked through Airbnb or Booking, also through that platform's chat.
We use no other sender. If a message comes from a different address or a different number, it is not from us — however convincingly it carries our name, our photos and your booking details.
What we will never ask you for
We will never ask you by email for payment details, passwords, verification codes, or to send money to a bank account. We will never write to tell you an account has changed and that you should pay into a different one.
If you receive a message like that in our name, however convincing it looks, do not reply and do not click any link. Write to us on WhatsApp or through your booking chat and we will confirm straight away whether it came from us. Asking is never a bother: we would far rather have one question too many.
The traveller registration, which we will ask for
Before you arrive we will ask you to complete the traveller registration. Spanish law requires it (Real Decreto 933/2021) and it covers everyone staying in the house, children included. It is not our paperwork: it is an obligation we answer for.
That form always opens from the link we send you on WhatsApp or from your booking chat, and it will never ask you for payment details.
And one thing that matters: please don't send us photos of passports or ID cards by messaging app. Those images stay on both phones and in their backups, for good. Upload them in the form instead, from where they go straight to the official registry without being left in any conversation. The form is the safe option, not the inconvenient one.
