Nobody has to leave the house
Yoga, massage, hairdressing, make-up and manicures, all at the house. Nothing to book anywhere, no car to take, no agreeing what time everyone leaves. They come to you.
They come to you
Five things you don’t have to go out for
Each has its own notice period, because each depends on someone else’s diary. It’s arranged before you arrive, so the group picks the time.

Yoga
It’s what gets asked for most. We work with two local teachers and whoever is free that day comes. Up to sixteen people at once, in whichever part of the garden the group chooses: there are several and they all work.
In summer it’s done early, before the heat sets in. In winter, in the pavilion, with the wood stove lit.

Massage
They’re done by the same person who teaches the yoga, and they bring their own table. It’s set up wherever you say: in the garden, in the pavilion or in your own room.
It’s the only thing at the house booked one person at a time. Each of you decides whether and when, without it depending on the group.

Hairdressing
They come to the house. It’s what solves the morning of a day when there’s something to celebrate, without anyone going out or booking a slot somewhere.

Make-up
Here too, with a proper mirror and proper light: every bedroom has its own, so nobody fights over a bathroom.

Manicures
One at a time or several in a row, on the porch or wherever you fancy. It’s one of the few things you can do while carrying on a conversation.

Without asking for anything
What’s already here
A good part of the resting isn’t booked: it’s there from the moment the door opens.
The wood-fired hot tub
Outdoors, for eight. Lit in the afternoon and ready by evening. In January it’s the best place in the house.

The pool
Twelve metres by six, kept clean and open twelve months a year. It isn’t heated, and if you’re coming from northern Europe that matters less than you’d think.

The shade
Forty metres of fully covered pergola. It’s several degrees cooler underneath and you can’t hear a thing.

The dry garden
The other face of a Mediterranean garden: the one that asks for no water and looks just as well all year.

Quiet enough to read
With fourteen people in the house, finding somewhere quiet with daylight is the hardest luxury there is. Here there are several.

The porch at first light
The sun comes in first thing. It’s where everyone ends up without anyone suggesting it.
One thing worth saying
You won’t see a single guest in these photographs
The yoga photographs on this page are of the teacher, who knows they’re published. Of the classes and massages with guests there isn’t one.
That time belongs to the guest and to nobody else. A house rented whole, with no reception desk, shouldn’t have someone taking photographs while you’re having a massage either.
We tell it in words, and everyone pictures it for themselves.

What to ask for in advance
None of this is compulsory and none of it has a form. You tell us on WhatsApp and it’s sorted before you arrive.
The hot tub, the pool, the shade and the quiet don’t need asking for: they’re already here.
All you have to do is say what you fancy
Message us on WhatsApp with your dates and the number of people. It’s arranged before you arrive and that’s that.
