Who they are
This isn’t a group for tourists
There are four of them: a singer, a guitarist and two dancers. They work at one of Valencia’s tablaos and are among the best here.
They come to this house because of the bond we have with them, not because it’s another gig. You can tell: they play the way you play for people you know, not the way you play for a room you’re passing through.
Two ways
The guitar alone, or the whole group
Guitar only
It’s what gets asked for most. The guitarist plays through the meal, with no stage and no performance: the music accompanies, it doesn’t interrupt. It works particularly well with the paella over the fire.
The full group
Singer, guitarist and two dancers. This isn’t background music any more: it’s half an hour in which nobody talks. It happens at night, in the garden or in the pavilion if the weather doesn’t hold.
The guitar alone costs considerably less, and it’s where almost everyone starts.
When
During the meal, not after it
It usually starts once the table is served and people have been sitting a while. There’s no introduction and no applause on arrival: the guitarist sits down and begins.
With the full group it’s different: it happens at the end, once everyone has eaten and night has fallen. That is a performance, and it lasts as long as it should.
It can be asked for with any of the meals, though it fits best with the paella and the asado.

The questions we get most
Can we book it without staying?
No. Like everything else that gets added on, it’s for the group staying at the house.
How long does it last?
The guitar accompanies the meal, so it lasts as long as the table does. The full group is a performance of a good half hour, at the end of the night.
Do you need a stage?
No. They play in the garden, beside the table or the fire. If it rains or turns cold, in the pavilion, which is enclosed and climate-controlled.
How far in advance should we ask?
As early as possible: they’re professional musicians with their own diaries and aren’t always free. A particular weekend is worth locking in weeks ahead.
Can it be combined with a meal?
That’s the usual way, and it’s where it works best. With the paella over the fire and with the asado especially.
Are there classes?
Yes. You can ask for a class for the group, dance or hand-clapping, instead of a performance. Tell us when you book, because it’s prepared differently.

Where it happens
A 16th-century villa, entirely yours
The garden where they play belongs to a five-hundred-year-old house, five minutes from Valencia airport and fifteen from the centre. Always one group at a time, so nobody else is listening.
